


TIMco have a great reputation in the market place for quality, reliability & service. However, they were not associated with product innovation and brand recognition was low. Our brief was to change both of these preconceptions.
The Velocity screw was faster than anything else TIMco had on the market. The design had to say speed, feel dynamic and stand alone from any other TIMco branded product.
The promotional literature developed the notion of speed further, based around the vapour trails of the packaging as it speeds off the shelves. This was applied to banners, catalogue pages, magazine ads, posters, point of sale, e-shots and web pages. You think of it, Velocity had it, window stickers, floor decals, direct marketing, promotional t-shirts, free sample packs and more.
Less than one year since launch, Velocity is literally flying off the shelves and the first quarter of 2011 saw Screwfix take the product, giving TIMco the perfect exposure and brand recognition it has been searching for.
