2010 brought about a brand update for Fellows.
The UK’s largest auction house outside of London entrusted us with managing this change.

Fellows & Sons was established in 1876 and has remained a family business ever since. Based in the heart of the jewellery quarter, Birmingham, Fellows are one of the UK’s oldest and most respected firms of auctioneers and valuers.

In 2010 Fellows replaced Bonhams as the third largest auction house in the UK (after Christies & Sotherbys) and saw this as the ideal time for a branding update. Whilst wanting to keep their heritage it was time for Fellows to evolve into a modern brand. With much of the bidding today online it was thought to be essential to keep up with modern times. To facilitate this change we were not only tasked to create the new Fellows identity but to manage it across all media. For this we produced the “Brand Application Manual”. This took a number of forms both digital and printed, culminating in a 60 plus page, perfect bound brochure and CD of all digital assets.

The brochure itself contained many different stocks. Stationery guidelines were printed on the correct material as were catalogue pages and covers. This formed the most complete “brand bible” we have produced to date, distributed to all Fellows’ suppliers ensuring continuity wherever used.
